The recoil shields and butt are cut for a shoulder stock. The letters "GG" are stamped on the left side of the barrel to the right of the wedge screw and on the cylinder over the serial number. There is an "H" stamped on the rebated portion of the cylinder and on the rigth side of the barrel near the wedge and an "S" stamped on the bottom of the barrel. The brass front strap is stamped with a "D". Fitted with a smooth one-piece walnut grip with a boxed "FJ" cartouche on the right and a boxed "WHR" on the left.

Rating Definition:

Very good, there is a smooth mottled brown/gray patina overall with a series of dings along each side of the barrel and some scattered minor pitting. The front strap has a nicely aged speckled patina. The grip is good with a series of dings on the butt, some scattered dings and faint cartouches. Mechanically fine.
