Manufactured 1976-78. The revolver features Class "D" factory floral scroll engraving on the full length of the barrel, ejector housing, frame, cylinder flats, cylinder flutes, recoil shields, trigger guard, top strap, back strap, bottom strap and lower end of front strap. The top of the barrel is marked with the single line address and the left side is marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY 44 SPECIAL". The left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates and the Rampant Colt. Matching serial numbers on the frame and left side of grip straps under the grip. Also marked "Colt Eng" under left grip panel on side of grip strap. Fitted with plastic federal eagle grips numbered to the gun. Complete with a Colt custom shop Leatherette hardcase with gold velvet lining and plain cardboard box for the case with custom Shop end label numbered to the gun.

Near new in box. The revolver retains 99% plus of the original finish. The grips are near new. Mechanically excellent. The case is excellent and the box is good with one end separated.
