Manufactured in 1984. This revolver is a limited edition of 10 revolvers featuring floral scroll engraving on the frame, back strap and cylinder flats with a punch dot background. The sides of the top strap and front sight sides have a feather design and there is a geometric design on the muzzle sides of the barrel, upper sides of the trigger guard, trigger guard shoulders and upper sides of the back strap. There is a single thin gold inlaid band around the muzzle, a wide and thin band around the breech end and the left side of the barrel has gold inlaid "COLT SHERIFF'S MODEL" with gold wire border. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address and the right side "COLT SAA 45 CAL". The rear edge of the cylinder has a thin and wide gold inlaid band and the lower sides of the frame have a gold wire border. The upper left front of the frame has a gold six point badge marked "SHERIFF" on a punch dot background, the recoil shield has a gold Lady of Justice with a punch dot background and the top of the back strap has a gold Scales of Justice on a punch dot background. The back strap has gold inlaid "No. 4 of 10". The left side of the frame is marked with the three line patent dates and the matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame, on the left side of the grip straps under the grip and the grip panels are numbered to the gun. The cylinder pin head is ivory and the revolver is fitted with smooth ivory grips with the American Eagle seal on the left panel.
