Manufactured in 1993 this exceptional example of a Colt Single Action Army revolver features the factory Class "C" American style floral scroll engraving on a punch dot background. This factory engraving covers the barrel, cylinder flats between the flutes, frame, trigger guard and back strap. The revolver has the one line top barrel address, "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY 45" on the left side of the barrel and the two line, three patent date marking with the Rampant Colt on the left side of the frame. The Colt triangle "VP" proof and the number "4" are stamped on the left side of the trigger guard. Blade front and frame notch rear sights, casehardened frame, polished hammer sides and remaining metal surfaces finished in bright high polished Colt blue. The revolver is fitted with smooth ivory grips featuring gold Rampant Colt medallions. The included Colt factory letter confirms the serial number, caliber, barrel length, finishes and factory engraving, with walnut grips listed at the time of shipment. The revolver was shipped as 1 gun on Custom Shop Order # 4346 to Southern Ohio Distributors, 240 Harmon Avenue, Lebanon, Ohio on April 21, 1993. Also accompanying the revolver is the original two piece blue Colt box with white outer box having the Custom Shop label indicating special order features and is numbered to the gun.
