Manufactured in 1971. This revolver features floral scroll and punch dot engraving on the breech end sides of the barrel, frame, back strap and forward flats of the cylinder. The top of the barrel is marked with the one-line address and "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY 45" on the left side both bordered with a gold inlay wire bordering, with a diamond design on each end of the barrel address. There is a gold inlaid band around the muzzle and breech end of the ejector housing and double bands around the breech end of the barrel and ejector housing. The upper edge of the ejector housing, sides of the top strap and rear of the cylinder have a feather design. The cylinder, frame and back strap have gold wire inlay borders, with a scroll design on the top of the back strap and a gold inlaid wire border ending in a diamond shape on the lower front strap. There is a gold inlaid eagle perched on a gold inlaid branch in a mountain scene on the recoil shield and the right side of the frame has a desert scene with a gold inlaid steer skull and two gold inlaid cactus. The left side of the frame is marked with the two-line, three patent dates followed by the Rampant Colt. Matching serial numbers on the bottom of the frame and on the left side of the front and back straps under the grip. All blue finish, standard fixed sights and fitted with checkered Rampant Colt/American eagle relief grips.

Near new, as masterfully embellished with 99% blue finish, with only the slightest handling/storage marks. The grips are as new.
