The Model 21 was introduced by Winchester in 1931 was one of the companies finest shotguns with regard to quality, reliability and strength. The model was originally a production line gun and was moved to the custom shop in 1960, but all along it was a hand-built custom-made shotgun from the beginning. This Deluxe Skeet Grade shotgun was produced between 1940 and 1950. Red bead front and silver mid bead sights, choked "WS1"/"WS2", 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. The gauge and chamber markings are on the left barrel over the chamber, "DELUXE" and "14358" are marked on the bottom barrel flat with small decorative stamps on either side, the U.S. patent numbers and model markings are on the water table and the serial number "14358" is marked under the break lever. The trigger plate is marked "DELUXE/SKEET", equipped with a single selective trigger and tang mounted manual safety. Mounted on a finely checkered, fancy grain walnut beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with checkered bare butt. Length of pull is 14 inches. The shotgun is accompanied by a copy of a Cody Firearms Museum Records Office form verifying the serial number, gauge, barrel length, single trigger, ejectors (selective), manual safety, chokes, pistol grip stock with deluxe finish checkered butt and pitch, pull, heel and comb drop dimensions.

Excellent plus, retaining 99% of the bright original finish with minimal handling marks. Stock is excellent with light pressure dents and attractive feathering. Mechanically excellent.
