Manufactured circa 1949. Single red bead front sight on the vent rib, chokes marked "WS-1"/"WS-2", 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors, tang mounted safety and barrel mounted barrel selector. The barrel has the standard type 4 marking. The choke markings on the bottom of the barrel have been remarked. The barrel flat and water table have the standard markings. Mounted on a nicely figured checkered walnut beavertail forearm and straight grip stock with checkered bare butt. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches. With correct style Winchester box and two shipping boxes.

Professionally refurbished to near mint with vent rib added, 99% blue finish with only the slightest handling/storage marks overall. Box is excellent with minor wear.
