This is a contemporary stalking rifle manufactured by Merkel with an aluminum alloy receiver engraved with games scenes. The right side shows a doe and a fawn in a wooded scene with hills in the background. The left side shows a buck running down a wooded hillside. There are also flourishes of engraving located on the sides and bottom of the receiver. There is a fixed blade front and drift adjustable rear sight. There is a Swarovski 3-10x42 A Habicht scope with flip up lens covers. The rifle has an interesting feature of not being cocked until the safety is pushed forward and there is a lever on the left side of the trigger guard for different trigger pull weights. Mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut forearm with Schnabel tip and pistol grip stock with raised cheekpiece and recoil pad. With a set of Lyman All-American .257 Weatherby Magnum dies.

Excellent, 99% original blue and gray finish with only the slightest handling marks. Does not function correctly. The wood is also excellent with some scattered minor scratches. Scope is excellent as well with clear optics. Dies are also excellent in original box. Box is good.
