The top of the solid rib has the three line Fraser address, ramp blade front sight with provisions for a hood and two leaf rear sight (one fixed, one folding). The action features an extensive tight english scroll engraving with borders and the top of the receiver is marked "FRASER'S PATENT/No 218." Barrel is numbered to the gun. The rifle has an automatic tang safety with gold marked "SAFE." The scrollwork extends to the forearm hardware, breech lever and trigger guard. Nicely figured multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with cheekpiece, sling eyelets, horn forend tip, blank initial shield, horn grip cap and solid recoil pad.

Refinished. The barrel retains 95% plus of the blue finish. The receiver and breech block retain flashes of case colors blended with a smooth gray. The wood is fine as refinished with repairs and a few minor handling marks with overall crisp checkering. Recoil pad has age hardened. Mechanically fine.
