Manufactured in Japan from 1978 to 1986. Two ivory beads on the matte vent rib, chambered 3 inches, choked modified/improved cylinder with ejectors. The coin finished action and trigger guard are lightly floral scroll and border engraved with a engraved Pigeon on the bottom of the receiver. The breech end of the matte rib is marked "PIGEON GRADE" and the left side is marked "WINCHESTER MODEL 23 XTR-20 GA. 3"-76mm/NEW HAVEN,CONN-U.S.A.". Jeweled water table and tang mounted safety/selector. Fitted with a deluxe multi-point checkered walnut forearm with lightly engraved hardware and a round pistol grip stock with a black serrated plastic buttplate. Length of pull is 14 1/8 inches. Complete with a Winchester factory box hand numbered to the gun.

Excellent. The shotgun retains 98% plus of the original blue finish with a few marks from handling and storage. The wood is also excellent with faint marks and a couple of minor dings from handling and storage. Mechanically excellent. The box is good showing wear and some tearing from handling and storage.
