This is a beautiful example of a professionally done fully legal conversion of an original H&K 91 semi-automatic rifle into one of the desirable "G3K" short barreled fully automatic rifles. This conversion was performed by "Red Dog Target Supplies" out of Arizona a very well know and reputable Class II manufacturer, who specializes in working on HK Rifles and SMGs. They started with an original HK91 rifle with a "IA" date code receiver (1980), as the base weapon. The original "H&K 91" receiver markings were removed and the receiver was faithfully remarked "HKG3K" directly in the same area, while retaining all the remaining original markings. During the conversion this rifle was upgraded with a military style G3 "paddle" lever magazine release and was fitted with a new "Clipped & Pinned", "0-1-20" Polymer trigger housing. During the conversion the original barrel was shortened to the current 12.5 inch length and was refitted with the original HK91 flash hider. The entire receiver/barrel group was refinished in a beautiful flat back finish that very closely matches the original "HK" factory finish. The rifle still retains it original post front sight and 100-400 meter military rear sight. This excellent rifle does not have any magazines or additional accessories, however they are very plentiful on the secondary market.

Excellent with 99% of the refurbished, black painted type finish that shows no wear at all. The bolt face shows no firing marks so it appears to have not been fired after being converted. The original stock and forend are both excellent. Just a beautiful example of a fully automatic HK type "G3K" rifle. This weapon is a Class 3, Fully Automatic Weapon, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
