Description:

Manufactured between 1924 and 1933. This is one that was sold through the NRA and is listed by serial number in the D.C.M. Rifle sales summary. It has a Redfield globe front sight on a ramp which covers the barrel markings. The barrel appears to be dated "7-31". The top of the barrel behind the barrel band and the front receiver bridge are drilled and tapped with filler screws. There is a Lyman fully adjustable rear peep sight mounted on the right rear of the receiver and the M2 bolt is electropenciled to the gun. The stock is smooth walnut with sling swivels and a cupped checkered steel buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Excellent as modified (front sight), 97% original blue finish with a few light scratches and high edge wear. The buttplate has flaking and wear. The stock is also excellent with some scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent
