Description:

This rifle is listed by serial number as a sporter in the summary of D.C.M. Rifle sales.Fixed beaded blade front sight and Lyman fully adjustable rear peep sight mounted on the right rear of the receiver. The barrel is marked "S A/flaming bomb/3-30", star gauge on the muzzle, barrel band is marked with a "U" and the receiver has the standard markings. The bright bolt is numbered to the gun. Mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut pistol grip stock with sling swivels and a cupped checkered steel buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very good, 40% of the original blue finish remains with considerable wear on the floor plate, barrel band and buttplate. There are some scattered light scratches and thinning along the barrel with an area of touch up blue. There are some small areas of pitting on the buttplate. The stock is also very good as modified with a hairline crack on top right side, added checkering and some scattered minor scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent.
