Manufactured in February of 1945, and later refurbished and outfitted in the style of an M1C sniper rifle. Fixed blade front and adjustable peep rear sights, with a Springfield bolt, "8-51" dated Springfield barrel, and Springfield trigger group and operating rod. The C-pattern matching serialized base is fixed to the receiver with 2 pins and 3 hex screws, with a set of Griffin & Howe rings. Smooth stock, with an uncircled "P" on the wrist and a checkered buttplate. Included with the rifle is a shipping box, M2 flash hider, sling and cleaning tools. No scope is included.

Very fine as arsenal refurbished, with 97% of the parkerized finish, showing mild handling marks and edge wear overall. The stock is very good, with mild scratches and dents. A cheekpiece has never been installed on this stock. Mechanically excellent.
