Manufactured 1978-1996. Blade front and adjustable rear sights. Nicely blued finish marked "Phelps Mfg. Inc. Evansville In." on the left side of the frame, "Heritage 1" on the right side and "45-70" on the left side of the barrel. This massive revolver weighs about six pounds and is 17 1/2 inches long overall. Complete with a Boyt flannel lined canvas soft case and a copy of Handguns Magazine dated April of 1993 containing an article that includes the Heritage 1.

Excellent plus with all of the original blue finish remaining showing very faint handling/storage marks and a very faint drag line on the cylinder. The grips have been slightly modified at the tops, otherwise excellent. Mechanically excellent.
