One of less than 1000 produced in the mid 1870s. Blade and notch sights, with "ADSWORTH, WORCESTER, MASS. U.S. PAT'D OCT. 22 '61 - JUNE 27 '71 - OCT. 28 '73+" on the top flat, with matching numbers on the barrel, butt, cylinder, and cylinder pin. Smooth two piece grips.

Fair, with 70% of the nickel finish, showing a number of scattered dents and scratches, along with areas of gray patina and mild flaking. The barrel has been shortened, the sideplate slightly misfit and lifted up with the cylinder pin catch absent. Grips are good, with mild dents and a few small chips at the heel. Mechanically good.
