Manufactured in 1891. Lyman half-moon front sight with ivory bead accent and semi-buckhorn rear sight, with the two line address and "40-82 W.C.F." on the top flat. Casehardened frame, lever and hammer, with patent dates on the lower tang and "-Model 1886-" on the upper tang. Smooth stock, with a metal forearm tip and smooth buttplate.

Fair, with 25% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina, scattered spotting, and a number of scratches and vise marks present on the barrel and magazine tube. Traces of the original case colors are present, concentrated in the protected areas, with mild pitting and a gray patina overall. Stock is good as revarnished, with some dents. Mechanically excellent.
