Late production with upper tang marked "Marlin/MODEL '97." Blade front sight and Winchester B5 scope with a tapped hole on the top barrel flat at the breech. Nicely figured checkered pistol grip stock with crescent buttplate. Speical order extra length 26 inch octagonal barrel.

Vine as partially refinished (wood). The magazine and barrel retain 70% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The remaining metal surfaces retain 30% original case colors. The revarnished wood is fine with a couple shallow gouges, some wear in the checkering and some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Scope has clear optics.
