Manufactured in 1911. This takedown variation of the Model 1895 has standard markings including the factory proof on top of the barrel and receiver. Beaded blade and Lyman receiver sights. Smooth straight grip stock with ebony forearm insert and fitted with a rarely seen checkered steel shotgun buttplate.

Fair as refinished overall. The rifle retains 60% of the thin blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina with some very scattered mild pitting. Barrel sling swivel stud has been removed with an aftermarket sling swivel stud added to buttstock. The refinished wood is very good with a couple minor cracks and some scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
