Manufactured circa 1884-1895. Revolver has the standard two line address/patent dates barrel rib marking. Matching serial number on butt, barrel, latch and right grip panel. Fitted with checkered S&W monogram imprinted grips. Included with the revolver is the factory box numbered to another but with a correct end label for this revolver (see image).

Excellent. The revolver retains 97% original nickel finish showing some very scattered light flaking. The trigger guard retains nearly 97% original blue finish showing some light flaking. The hammer and trigger retain 95% plus bright original case colors. Grips are fine with a repaired chip and hairline crack on the bottoms with overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with a series of holes on the bottom and limited corner separation.
