Manufactured circa 1907 to 1940 with this example fitted with the rare 2 inch barrel. The barrel is marked "SMITH & WESSON" on the left side and the caliber marking is stamped on the right side. The frame has the S&W trademark along with "MADE IN U.S.A." on the right side. Matching serial number on butt, cylinder, barrel and latch. Nickel finish with blue trigger guard and latch and casehardened trigger. Fitted with pearl grips.

Excellent. The revolver retains 95% original nickel finish showing some blistering which is beginning to flake. The trigger guard and latch retain most of the original blue finish and the trigger retains 70% original case colors. The slightly ill-fitting grips are fine with a couple minor missing chips and a couple small hairline cracks. The pearl has an attractive color. Mechanically excellent.
