Dovetail mounted globe front sight with integral spirit level and tang mounted long range windage adjustable rear sight, with the one line Providence, Rhode Island address on the top barrel flat. The receiver is lightly engraved, with "Creedmoor" on the left, "PEABODY & MARTINI PATENTS" on the right, a checkered thumb panel on the upper right side and a checkered trigger with sliding safety lever. Checkered pistol grip stock, with a metal Schnabel forearm tip and smooth flat buttplate.

Extremely fine, with 75% of the original blue finish, mixed with areas of brown and gray patina and showing high edge wear and mild handling marks. The case colors are 60% intact, with colors showing bright on the receiver sides, very bright on the loading cutout, and some mild fading to brown. Some filled holes are present on the buttplate heel, likely from a long range sight mount. Stock is fine with a hairline crack present at the toe, mild dents, and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
