Manufactured in 1951. Bead front sight on a barrel stamped with the two line nickel steel marking, "WINCHESTER/TRADEMARK" and "MODEL 61-22 L. RIFLE-/FOR SHOT ONLY-" on the left side towards the breech. The top of the barrel and receiver has the Winchester factory proof at the breech. The matching serial number is stamped on the underside of the frame and on the trigger guard plate. The rifle has a serrated trigger and checkered safety. Mounted with a 17 groove flat bottom forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate.

Excellent. The rifle retains 95% original blue finish showing minor edge and slide wear. There is an area of minor pitting on the left side of the receiver. The stock is also excellent with a dent on the grip and some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
