Manufactured in 1951 with a beaded blade front sight and an elevation adjustable rear sight. The hammer and trigger are serrated and the top tang is unmarked and is without holes drilled and tapped for sight mounting. The crowned barrel is marked "MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN./--U.S. OF AMERICA--" next to "-WINCHESTER-/--TRADE MARK--" next to "MODEL 62A-/22 S. L. L.R.". Fitted with a 17 groove flat bottom walnut forearm and smooth straight grip stock with checkered plastic buttplate. With box numbered to gun, manual and parts list.

Near new in original box, there is a small rub mark on the barrel and some minor cycling wear. The top tang has some light speckling. The wood has some scattered minor handling marks. The box has some stains with glue repair and some flaking. Just an outstanding example of a near new boxed Winchester Model 62.
