Description:

The saber has a 30 1/4 inch curved single fuller blade with gold accented engraving in a niter blue field covering the lower half of the blade. The engraving has a United States shield with military trophy on the obverse and trophies and a Liberty Cup on the reverse. The brass hilt has a reverse & knuckle bow, down-turned quillion and bird's head pommel. The bone handle has ten grip serrations. The brass scabbard has two suspension rings. Brass hilt, with a ribbed bone grip.

Rating Definition:

Good. The blade retains 40% of the original niter blue finish and some chipping of the edge. The hilt is good, with the guard bent upward slightly and minor chips visible on the edge. The scabbard is good, with some dents and a dark patina.
