This Third Model Winchester Model 1906 was manufactured between 1906 and 1932. Fixed beaded blade front sight and elevation adjustable rear sight. The barrel is stamped with the sixth barrel marking including the May 30, 1911 patent date, the caliber is marked on the left rear side of the barrel and the proofmark is stamped at the top near the receiver. The tang marking is covered by a Marble's flip up peep sight. Mounted on a 12 groove round walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a checkered composition buttplate.

Excellent as modified (barrel and forearm), 98% original blue finish with some wear along the top rails and an 8 digit number electropenciled on the left side of the receiver. The wood is excellent with some minor handling marks overall.
