Manufactured in 1947 with a fixed beaded blade front sight and an elevation adjustable rear sight. The loading port is triangular shaped, the barrel has the standard markings and there is a "W/P" proofmark on the top of the breech end of the barrel and on top of the receiver. The top tang is unmarked, the lower tang is stamped with the serial number as is the bottom front of the receiver. Mounted on a round 17 groove walnut forearm and straight grip stock with checkered composition buttplate.

Excellent, 90% plus original blue finish remains with some minor muzzle and cycling wear. There is some scattered minor scratches with some freckling overall. The wood is also excellent with a series of long scratches on the left side of the buttstock and some scattered minor handling marks overall. Mechanically fine.
