Description:

Both flasks are brass, with American patriotic designs on one side. 1) Powder flask for Colt revolving rifle, 7 inches tall and 3 7/8 inches wide, with a set of 3 suspension rings, with one side showing a stand of flags and assortment of arms over a set of crossed revolving rifles, crossed revolvers and a "COLTS PATENT" ribbon at the bottom. 2) Powder flask, marked "AM.FLASK&CAP CO." on top, 7 3/4 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches wide, with one side showing a pair of crossed revolvers over 13 stars and an American Eagle with flags and arms.

Rating Definition:

1) Good as incomplete, with a mixed patina and mild handling marks overall. The spigot, spring and a suspension ring base are absent. 2) Very good, with a mellow aged patina, darker in the protected areas, with a few mild dents.
