Manufactured in 1905. Colt only manufactured 976 Bisley Flat Top Target Model revolvers, and of those only 96 were chambered in 38 Colt caliber. Standard one line Hartford address stamped on top of the barrel, the left side of the barrel is marked "(BISLEY MODEL) 38 COLT", and the left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates followed by the circled Rampant Colt. Matching serial number on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap. The assembly number "2361" is marked on the loading gate. Blue with casehardened hammer. Replacement blade front sight, frame notch rear sight and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top.

Very fine. The revolver retains 85% plus original blue finish with wear on the muzzle and high edges, scattered thinning and minor wear giving way to a smooth plum patina and some minor spotting on the frame, as well as some scattered minor scratches. The grips have faded to brown and also remain very fine with some minor handling marks and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
