This example was manufactured in 1956. Serrated "late" type hooded ramp front sight and elevation adjustable rear sight. The barrel is marked with the standard information. The matted front and smooth rear receiver bridges are drilled and tapped for scope mounting with filler screws. The left rear side of the receiver is also drilled and tapped for sight mounting. Has the "late" type safety, hollow bolt knob and the bolt body is electropenciled to match the gun. Mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut pistol grip stock with sling swivels and a checkered steel buttplate. With original factory box numbered to gun and papers.

Excellent, 99% original blue finish with only a few light handling marks. The stock is also excellent with only a few light handling marks and sharp checkering. Box is very good with some wear.
