This rifle was manufactured in 1951 with a hooded ramp front sight with a stippled base and an elevation adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight. The straight tang receiver has tapped holes on top of the receiver bridges with filler screws for scope mounting and the left rear also is tapped for sight mounting with filler screws. The bright polished bolt body is electropenciled to the gun and has a "late" safety and solid bolt knob. The floor plate is marked "--SUPER GRADE--". Mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut pistol grip stock with ebony forend, raised cheekpiece, sling studs, sling swivels, hard rubber grip cap and checkered steel buttplate.

Excellent, 98% plus original blue finish with only some high edge and cycling wear with a few minor dings on the right side of the rear sight. The stock is also excellent with some scattered minor dings and scratches.
