This is an excellent example of a Winchester Model 42 shotgun manufactured in 1956. It has a single steel bead front sight, is choked modified and has a 3 inch chamber. The Winchester proof is stamped on the top of the receiver and barrel over the breech area. It is mounted on a 14 groove flat bottom walnut forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered plastic buttplate. Length of pull is 13 7/8 inches.

Excellent, 99% plus original blue finish with some wear and thinning on the magazine tube from cycling and a single minor scratch on the left side of the receiver. The wood is also excellent with a few scattered light scratches and pressure dents.
