Manufactured in 1954 with a "type 5" hooded ramp front sight and an elevation adjustable early rear sight. The receiver has a straight tang with drilled and tapped receiver bridges with filler screws. The left rear is drilled and tapped for sight mounting with filler screws. The bolt knob is hollow and has the "late" type safety. Mounted on a multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with sling swivels and a checkered steel buttplate.

Excellent, 99% original blue finish with some high edge wear and some scattered minor scratches. The stock is also excellent with some scattered light handling marks.
