Manufactured in 1953, the second year of production for this model. Integral "type 5" hooded ramp front sight and a folding elevation adjustable rear sight. The top of each receiver bridge is drilled and tapped for scope mounting and the left rear side is drilled and tapped for a rear sight with all having filler screws. Receiver has the straight tang and the safety is the "Late" type. Mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut Monte Carlo stock with sling swivels and a checkered aluminum buttplate.

Very fine as partially refinished (stock and trigger guard), 99% original blue finish with only the slightest handling marks. The stock is also excellent with a small ding on the front of the pistol grip. Mechanically excellent.
