Manufactured in 1917. Fixed sights, with the two line, two block address and patent marks on the left side of the slide, the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, and the caliber markings on the right. "VP" and "P" are stamped on the trigger guard, with "COLT" banners on the checkered hard rubber grips.

Fine. The pistol retains 50% plus original blue finish with scattered thinning and extensive areas of smooth gray patina. The grips have faded to brown and remain excellent with crisp checkering. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
