Manufactured in 1928. Fixed sights, with the two line address and patent dates on the left side of the slide, the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 25" under the ejection port, and "1/VP" and "25" on the trigger guard. Attractively casehardened trigger and safeties, and silver Rampant Colt medallions in the checkered grips. With a Colt Black Box, properly hand numbered to match, blue end label with white text reading "COLT AUTOMATIC PISTOL/RIMLESS .25 SMOKELESS", and instruction sheet.

Excellent, with 98% plus of the original blue finish, showing a small patch of surface pitting on the front left side of the slide, which has a small amount of pitting, along with some minor handling marks. The case colors are bright and vivid. Grips are excellent, with some minor verdigris buildup and a few small dents on the sharp checkering. Box is fair, with wear concentrated around the edges and corners, a few small tears. Mechanically excellent.
