This example has a receiver that was manufactured in 1944 and subsequently rebuilt to M1D specification with the barrel marked "S-A-7-51" and with a "P" proof. Standard sights with the windage drum marked with a "W" in a hexagon and the elevation knob is unmarked. The M84 scope serial number 4,918 is mounted on the front left of the receiver. The scope is not mounted straight and the mount is marked in white "3648718". Mounted on a smooth walnut pistol grip stock with "RRA-C" marked on the right wrist and a checkered steel buttplate with trapdoor (empty). With a green web sling, leather cheekpad marked "MRT/2 52" and a detachable flash hider.

Refurbished, 97% dark parkerized finish remains with some high edge wear, scattered minor scratches and rub marks with some residue on the barrel and gas cylinder. There are some small areas of pitting under the finish. The stock is very good with a number of dents, dings and some scratches. The scope is excellent with clear optics.
