Steel and white bead sights on the solid matte rib, "VON LENGERKE & DETMOLD . NEW YORK" engraved on the left barrel, the right barrel is engraved "THE KNOCK ABOUT GUN", both chokes marked "15.8" on the underside along with 2 1/2 inch chamber markings with an extractor. Casehardened receiver, with automatic tang safety and the Von Lengerke markings on the right side. Mounted on a multi-point checkered splinter forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with leather covered stock extension and recoil pad. Length of pull is 13 5/8 inches.

Professionally refinished (barrels), 95% blue finish remains with some muzzle, lower tang and high edge wear on the barrels. The chambers and forcing cones have been lengthened. 20% of the original case colors remain with the balance having a bright appearance. The wood is good as shortened with recoil pad added, smoothed checkering, scattered minor scratches and minor dings.
