The solid rib is marked "PATENT No 3084/TREBLE WEDGE FAST" surrounded by a boarder engraving followed by "W.W. GREENER ST MARY'S WORKS BIRMINGHAM". The action has an English scroll engraving with each lock marked "W.W. GREENER". 2 1/2 inch chambers, choke gauges at improved cylinder/improved cylinder and has an extractor. The scroll engraving extends to break lever, hammers and trigger guard. Nicely figured checkered straight grip stock with a single barrel wedge and a flat steel buttplate. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches.

Very good. The barrels retain 60% of the Damascus with a smooth dark brown patina. The action retains silvered out original case colors in and around the protected areas otherwise a smooth brown patina. The wood is fine with a series of shallow gouges on the buttstock (right side), some minor handling marks overall and some wear in the checkering. Mechanically fine.
