Fixed beaded blade front sight, flip up blade rear sight marked "0 500" and a flip up receiver peep sight. Marked with the manufacturer's and model information on the front receiver bridge with the caliber, proof pressure and "MADE IN CANADA" markings over the chamber area. Mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut pistol grip stock with Schnabel forend, checkered hard rubber grip cap, sling swivels and a checkered steel buttplate.

Excellent, 95% original blue finish with some wear/discoloration on the barrel band, rear sight leaf and rear flip up peep sight. There is a small spot of touch up blue on the rear of the trigger guard. The sling swivels and buttplate retain 90% of the bright niter blue. The stock is excellent with only light handling marks and sharp checkering. This may be the finest Ross Sporter we have ever offered and in the .280 Ross Catridge, (the 7mm Remington Magnum in it's day).
