This is an example of a WWII No4 MK British Enfield rifle that was converted in the 1950/1960s to a commercial target rifle in 7.62mm NATO. The rifle has a target globe front sight and a J. Parker model 8/53 target rear sight. Import marking on the barrel. The left side of the receiver is marked "7.62M/M L39 A1/UE.70.A763." Smooth pistol grip stock stamped "CR512" and "CF/1" in the grip area and a serrated rubber buttplate.

Very fine as arsenal refurbished. The rifle retains 98% plus black finish showing some loss at the muzzle. The wood is fine with some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
