Description:

Produced in 1911, with only 486 believed to have been made in this configuration. Patridge blade front sight and windage adjustable notch rear sight. The left side of the slide has the Webley "Winged Bullet" trademark, and the three-line address and caliber markings. Checkered hard rubber grips. The combination safety/ slide release (slide releases in forward position) and lanyard ring are on the left side, with the magazine release on the butt. Later style, made without grip safety. "BNP" proof under "crown" on left forward frame, "H1B" with "crossed septors" on rear.

Rating Definition:

Very good, with 80% plus of the bright original high polish blue finish, with the balance flaked off to a brown patina on the barrel and gripstraps, bright edge wear and scattered handling marks overall. Grips are also very fine, with a few tiny cracks and chips overall. The right panel is a deep black color, while the left has aged to an attractive chocolate brown. Mechanically excellent.
