The rifle is equipped with a 2.5x with a 10 degree field of view telescopic sight which is mounted to the left side of the receiver. The telescopic sight has the power and manufacturer markings over "No 23538/JES" and has a rubber eye piece. The mount has the number "9555". The top of the chamber has a clear model marking and a ground mum and the left side has the Nagoya Arsenal marking and the serial number. The bolt and bayonet lug are numbered to the gun with the cocking knob numbered to another gun (390). Ladder rear sight and military stock with handguard and cupped steel buttplate.

Very good plus. The rifle retains 40% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. There is some minor spotting. The stock is very good with a series of pressure dents near the bayonet lug and a number of minor handling marks with a hairline crack on the handguard near the rear sight. The scope has hazy optics. This rifle appears to have actually seen combat!
