The frame is marked "AUTOMAT./SYSTEM SJOGREN/PATENT." on the left side and a crown over "hand-weapon-work-office Copenhagen" in Danish on the right side. Choke gauges full, length of pull 13 1/2 inches. Several proofs are stamped on barrel with "NITRO PROOF". Matching numbers on receiver, barrel collar and collar. Straght grip stock with checkered forearm and hard rubber buttplate.

Very good. The shotgun retains 70% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The wood is fine as shortened with a repaired chip near upper tang, a number of minor handling marks and a filled buttstock sling swivel stud hole. A chip is missing from the buttplate. Mechanically needs work.
