Manufactured without sights with "FORESTER" and "MADE IN FINLAND" on the left side of the barrel, import marking on the bottom of the barrel and the caliber on the top over the chamber area. The left side of the receiver is marked "L579" with the serial number and two proof marks. The top of the receiver has matte integral scope mounts with Redfield bases with a Leupold 12x scope with adjustable objective and 2 1/4 inch sunshade. Mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut pistol grip stock with sling studs, raised cheekpiece and serrated buttplate.

Excellent, 97% original blue finish with some thinning on the floor plate and minor wear. The stock is also excellent with a few scattered marks. The scope is excellent as well with clear optics.

Fixed ramp front sight and no rear sight, the top of the receiver has integral matted scope mounts that have been tapped for scope mounting with filler plugs. The top of the barrel over the chamber area has the caliber and two proof marks. The right side of the receiver is marked "MADE IN FINLAND" and the left side of the receiver is marked "SAKO", "Riihimaki", the serial number and two proofmarks. Mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut pistol grip stock with sling swivels, checkered plastic grip cap, raised cheekpiece and serrated plastic buttplate.

Very good, 85% plus original blue finish with some scattered minor scratches and tool marks with some plum colored patina/blue touch up along the barrel near the muzzle. The stock is excellent with some scattered minor scratches and minor dings.
