The right side of the frame is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY/NO571801", with only an "Eagle Head/S15" inspection mark on the left side. It has the late features such as the checkered slide stop, thumb safety, magazine release and hammer spur with a smooth trigger and main spring housing. It is fitted with a blue barrel marked with a partial intertwined "HP" proof on top of the chamber area. It is currently fitted with a set of WWII brown plastic, checkered grips. It is complete with one half-tone magazine without a lanyard loop on the bottom.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as arsenal refurbished with 90% of the arsenal dip blue finish remaining overall with wear on the edges and high spots. The grips are also in very good condition. A fine representative example of a WWI Model 1911 pistol.
