The obverse has the single line marking of "MODEL OF 1911 U.S. ARMY". The right side of the frame is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY/236586", with the circular "JMG" U.S. Ordnance inspector's initials on the left side. It has the late features such as the checkered slide stop, thumb safety, magazine release and hammer spur with a smooth trigger and main spring housing. It is fitted with a blue barrel marked with the separated "H and P" proofs on top of the chamber area. It is currently fitted with a set of WWII checkered walnut grips and and a blued WWI magazine.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 60% of the blue finish remaining overall with wear on the edges and high spots overall with thinning on the grip straps and main spring housing. The barrel has had the exposed chamber area polished bright. The grips are in very fine condition with nice distinct checkering on both sides.
