Manufactured in 1918, this example has the 5 patent dates in two lines and the address in two lines on the left side of the slide with the model on the right side. The frame has the U.S. property marking and "JM" in a circle on the left side with serial number on the right side. Checkered slide stop, thumb safety, magazine release and hammer with the mainspring housing being an arched serrated version with a lanyard ring. Fitted with a set of checkered plastic grips with reinforcing rings. With a leather shoulder holster marked "U.S./ENGER KRESS/-44-" on the backside that has been personalized with a logo and "99TH". There are also two extra stainless steel Colt magazines.

Very good, 25% of the original blue finish remains with a smooth gray/brown patina on the balance with a few small areas of minor pitting. The replacement grips are very good with some dings and minor chips. The mainspring housing is a later production M1911A1 replacement. The holster is good as personalized. Both extra modern magazines are excellent.
