Description:

Manufactured between 1924 and 1933. "NBA" style rifle with fixed front sight with clip on hood and fully adjustable Lyman rear peep sight mounted on the right rear of the receiver. The barrel is marked "S A/flaming bomb/10-30" with a drilled and tapped hole on either side. The bolt is lightly marked with the matching serial number. Mounted on a smooth walnut pistol grip stock with finger grooves, sling swivels and a checkered steel buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as arsenal refurbished with 90% parkerized finish with wear along the barrel and high edges with some minor pitting under the finish. The floor plate and trigger guard have a smooth gray/brown patina with traces of finish remaining. The stock is very good with scattered scratches and dings.

Description:

Manufactured circa 1920 and subsequently outfitted for target shooting. The heavy barrel is marked "J.R. BUHMILLER" and has a sight block at the muzzle and two scope blocks near the rear with 7.2 inch spacing. There is a Lyman rear peep sight base mounted on the right rear of the receiver. Mounted on a walnut target style pistol grip stock with wide forearm, raised cheekpiece, sling swivels and a decorative diamond inlaid in front of the floorplate. The barreled action has been bedded to the stock. With a leather claw sling and a slip on sling pad.

Rating Definition:

Very good as refinished/assembled, 95% of the blue finish remains on the barrel with some muzzle wear and some scattered scratches. The receiver retains 99% black finish with minor edge wear. The stock is also very good with some scattered scratches and dings with some high edge wear and absent buttplate.The sling is good.
