D.C.M. Rifle Sales list this rifle as a National Match Pistol Grip Stock (NMP). The barrel has a star marked on the muzzle, a fixed front sight and is marked "S A/flaming bomb/6-32". There is a Lyman fully adjustable rear peep sight mounted on the right rear of the receiver. The receiver has the standard markings and the bright bolt is unnumbered. Mounted on a smooth walnut straight grip stock with finger grooves, sling swivels, "C??/1903" cartouche and a checkered steel buttplate with trapdoor (empty).

Very good as assembled/refinished, 75% parkerized blue finish with some high edge wear and scratches on the barrel. On the barrel, 95% of the blue remains with scratches and high edge wear. There is some pitting under the finish on the floor plate. The heavily sanded replaced stock is good as refinished with scattered dings and light scratches. Mechanically excellent. This is a project for the 1903 collector to save!
